About Your Facilitator: Leslie Fell

For over two decades I’ve traveled abroad and to a depth with dreams. My passion for dream work was ignited when experiencing dream councils in Africa beginning in the year of 2000. Learning,  experiencing and facilitating both jungian and indigenous ways of working with dreams have been a highlight of my facilitation work.

“Dream Council deepened our connection to ourselves, through our dreams, and then connected us more deeply…as we explored themes and feelings the dreams evoked.  Leslie is a masterful facilitator, and she managed the space with grace and power as needed. Her wisdom and insights up-levelled the experience.”  (SA)

The Work of Byron Katie 1

TBD

An intro to the simple but powerful process of inquiry that will change your life.

The Work of Byron Katie Weekend Retreat

“Stress is the alarm clock that lets you know you’ve attached to something not true for you....You either believe what you think or you question it. There’s no other choice”.- Byron Katie

“The Work” is a simple yet powerful process of inquiry, inspired by Byron Katie. It identifies and questions stressful thoughts and is a way to work with judgments and/or projections. It also addresses the cause of any challenging thought with clarity. It consists of four questions and the turnarounds.

In this heart-centred, sacred space we will identify and question stressful thoughts and beliefs. An immersion retreat into The Work of Byron Katie. Come to identify the thoughts causing you suffering and find your freedom. We’ll learn about and practice of The Work of Byron Katie whilst being held in a nurturing nature retreat space. This retreat is open to people new to The Work and those who are deepening their practice.

Ideal for anyone wanting to:

  • Decrease stress
  • Understand the cause of your suffering
  • Improve relationships - deeper connection and intimacy with your partners, parents, children, friends, colleagues and yourself
  • Develop self compassion
  • Become more self aware
  • Increase clarity, energy level and peace

What's included:

  • Learning about and practice with the process of the work of Bryon Katie with your host and certified facilitator, Leslie Fell
  • Sharing of resources available to support you doing this process
  • Meditation, inquiry, group and partner work, and music

  • Morning walk
  • Countless private sit spots in nature
  • Numerous trails through diverse ecosystems across the hills and valleys including forests, meadows and wetlands
  • Accommodations (linens provided) in a double occupancy or private room or private cabin when booked for Full Inclusive Retreat

About your facilitator, Leslie Fell's experience with the work:

For over 25 years I have used the Work of Byron Katie process. Because I wanted to deepen my understanding of this tool, I went through and completed the intense certification in the past decade. Former education of mine includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and Masters in Public Health Sciences. After working as a therapist, administrator and consultant, I then learned and experienced numerous transformational processes across the world with scholars and indigenous elders. Called to foster well-being, peace, and generosity I created Fells Meadows in 2017, a place for people to be in retreat and Living Ways Foundation, a registered Canadian charity that develops and shares practical knowledge and wisdom based initiatives. It’s been my experience that this practice of ‘the work’ is the most beneficial to address judgements, projections and stressful thoughts. I warmly invite you to explore this process and test it for yourself.

“Leslie is a masterful facilitator and she managed the space with grace.” - SA

“Not only a skilled facilitator of The Work of Byron Katie, Leslie brings to it broad experience in investigating our inner world. When she has facilitated me in The Work, I was able to gently let go of my unconscious motives and touch a deeper truth.  It went well beyond release from one particular situation.” - Jennifer D
