Covid-19 Safety Protocol & Precautions at Fells Meadows
The health, safety and well-being of our guests and staff is paramount at Fells Meadows. We are closely and actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are adhering to the guidelines put forth by the federal and provincial governments, and local health officials to protect our guests, staff, and volunteers and minimize the spread of COVID-19.
In light of the pandemic Fells Meadows has altered priorities and rates to better support people to come and be nourished in nature in a safe way. Our retreats have been put on hold and our priority has shifted to offering safe accommodations for individuals, couples, families and small groups. Fells Meadows was created to nourish mind, body, and soul. Having a safe place to connect with nature and rejuvenate is critical in these challenging times.
During the pandemic Fells Meadows has put in place the following:
Buildings and linens are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after and before any bookings.
The host, staff, and volunteers have minimum contact with guests. Leslie Fell is usually the host that will meet an individual to show them the farm house or cabins if this is the first time at Fells Meadows. Leslie and any designate are required to wear a mask when meeting with guests in a building. The guests are also required to wear a mask when meeting with Leslie or her designate. All staff and guests must be symptom free before coming to and during time at Fells Meadows.
We ask all staff and guests to screen themselves before coming to Fells Meadows. In addition guests will be requested to sign a waiver which includes confirmation that they are no experiencing any flu-like symptoms, have not traveled outside of the country or been in contact with someone known to have COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
Preventing the Spread
In accordance with Public Health regulations, we encourage the following among both guests, staff, and volunteers:
- Use of outdoor spaces whenever possible
- Practicing physical distancing as much as possible
- Frequent hand washing and use of our sanitization stations throughout the property
- The use of face masks indoors in public spaces and where physical distancing may be a challenge outdoors
If you need to change your reservation because of covid restrictions or due to symptoms you are able to postpone your booking to another time up to one year from the booking. Should there be full closures this term of one year will be extended by at least the period of the closure (i.e. if mandated closure is 2 months then the period of time to rebook is 14 months).
