The Dream World Hero

The Dream World Dates: TBD

Dreams—whether understood as messages from our higher selves, our ancestors, or the natural world—hold the potential to guide, heal, and illuminate. This weekend retreat invites you to explore the realm of dreams and day visions, deepen your understanding of dream practices, and reconnect with nature, yourself, and a small circle of supportive participants. Along the way, we’ll welcome moments of curiosity, creativity, and play—because dream work can be fun as well as insightful. Whether you remember your dreams often or hardly at all, this retreat offers simple practices that can gently inspire and awaken your dream life.

This retreat is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and cultivate a relationship with your dream world. Between our sessions, you’ll have time to relax over nourishing meals, wander the land, and journal or reflect at your own pace. You’ll be welcomed into a gentle, intimate circle where you can learn, rest, and engage with others who are curious about the wisdom that emerges at night—and in waking moments of insight.

Expand and Enhance Understanding

For thousands of years, dreams have served as teachers and guides. All dreams—whether vivid, confusing, repetitive, or barely remembered—offer something worthy of exploration. Even if you don’t recall dreams right now, you are warmly welcomed—many people find that simply slowing down, paying attention, and engaging with supportive practices begins to invite dreams back in. Together, we’ll explore practical and accessible ways to honour the messages that arise in dreams and day visions. We’ll also bring a sense of openness and gentle playfulness to the work, discovering that dream exploration doesn’t need to feel heavy to be meaningful. Spacious breaks throughout the weekend allow for walking in nature, quiet reflection, or simply resting.

 Ideal for those:

  • Curious about dreams, whether or not you currently recall them
  • Wanting to inspire, reawaken, or deepen your dream life
  • Keen to tune into messages from the unconscious
  • Wanting to learn about, reconnect with, and experience the dream world
  • Curious about how Indigenous cultures work with dreams
  • Unable to recall dreams and wishing to strengthen dream memory
  • Wanting to listen to the treasure trove within
  • Seeking time in nature to support insight and reflection
  • Appreciating a spacious, reflective environment
  • Interested in an initial exploration of dream work (this is not therapy)

Note: This is not a therapeutic or analytic program. Instead, we explore dreams in circle—through simple practices, shared reflection, and a spirit of openness and play—drawing on traditions that honour dreams as carriers of insight and connection.

Our Facilitator

Leslie Fell

For more than twenty years, Leslie has explored and facilitated dream work through both Jungian and Indigenous approaches. Her passion began in 2000 while participating in dream councils in Africa, and has since been shaped by her education, guidance from Indigenous Elders, and other teachers she has studied with.

Leslie is experienced in holding space for people to explore the symbolic, intuitive, and healing dimensions of their dreams. Her holistic background in wellness, life transitions, and community connection naturally informs her approach, allowing participants to feel supported as they weave insight and meaning from their dream experiences. She is also the creator of Fells Meadows, a nature-based sanctuary where her retreats and programs invite people into deeper connection with themselves, each other and nature.

Testimonials

“For our leadership development retreat, we were looking for something extra to bring into our learning space, so when Leslie mentioned that she runs a workshop called a Dream Council, I knew it was exactly what we were looking for.  Dream Council deepened our connection to ourselves, through our dreams, and then connected us more deeply to the entire group as we explored themes and feelings the dreams evoked. Leslie is a masterful facilitator, and she managed the space with grace and power as needed.  Her wisdom and insights up-levelled the experience and made it one of our favourite activities of the whole retreat.” - Sophia A., Leadership Retreat Coordinator

“Leslie is a gentle and powerful soul who is an amazing teacher and facilitator. You can’t but grow and learn when with her.” Joan S

"Not only a skilled facilitator, Leslie brings to it broad experience in investigating our inner world.” - Jennifer D.
